MPE Suzhou is searching for a Plastics Tooling & Product Development Engineer, who assists and supports the development, testing, and industrialization of plastic products and their manufacturing processes, often utilizing CAD software, collaborating with the Customers and with the company’s cross-functional teams to ensure products meet the Customers’ specifications, performance and quality standard, and manufacturability requirements.

61 CAD and Simulation: Use CAD software to model, analyze, and simulate plastic product designs and manufacturing processes, including FEA, moud-flow and so on.

61 Tool Development, Construction and Testing: Help and support locally the prototypes and/or serial moulds construction , the production of prototypes and / or OTS and PPAP parts.

61 Product feasibility: Analysis of the Customers drawing and technical specifications, of the product features, and ensure the product will meet specific test performance requirements and can be manufactured efficiently.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

61 Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of plastic materials and products and plastic manufacturing processes. Engineering studies profile. At least 3-years’ experience in the plastic injection or blow-moulding process.

61 CAD Software Proficiency: Expertise in using CAD and simulation tools for design and analysis.
