Application Engineer (无机非金属材料/玻璃)

1. Build up fundamental understanding on glass, and be able to optimize processing parameters of key materials, and transfer the processing knowhow to customers.

2. Monitor and analyze the IPs, and prepare the routine reports and further sharing meetings.

3. Work closely with local sales and provide technical support to customers regarding technical issues and complaints related to thin glass and other related products. Execute lab analysis and testing based on requests; organize sample preparation under request of customers.

4. Develop technical competence, knowhow, and deep understanding in the field of glass processing , and enable to capture new technologies.

5. Organize technical evaluation of new products as well as the competitor benchmark testings, and make continuous optimization and improvement on the performance of products.

6. Prepare reports for all customer activities & lab evaluations, and presentations for projects, with high quality standard and time measures.

Your Profile:

1. Ph.D. or above in Materials, Physics, Chemistry.

2. Knowledge of glass material and its processing & applications.

3. Experience on glass processing in factories and innovation project running.

4. Proven analytical skills on compositions and mechanical performance of inorganic materials.

5. Problem solving capability in a dynamic environment.

6. Effective interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

7. Self-motivated with good organization skills.

8. Fluent in English, with both written and oral communication skills.
