Senior Project Engineer

61 Participate weekly video meetings to discuss all product development related aspects with global team.

61 Plan development schedule & agree with all stakeholders (including regional and global team).

61 Define Product specification: Carry out quality, cost & manufacturing feasibility study, give cost-feature trade-off directions & propose engineering solution. Finally, finalizing product specification (quality, aesthetic & functional) & final target cost with consensus from stakeholders.

61 Ensure production output & tooling capacity aligning with committed target in technical perspective.

61 Monitor & ensure development activities happened per plan. Provide on-site support from development start to OBS whenever is necessary.

61 Manage model makers to develop engineering prototypes. Evaluate engineering pilot samples and provide modification directions

61 Provide manufacturing support as needed after Production start.

61 Willing to travel and work in the production facilities of factories, tool / model makers and / or subcontractors.

61 Provide technical support and debug as needed on consigned materials.

61 Handle consigned material, and special components sourcing and cost negotiation.

61 Support internal groups on any production output issues and material authorization review.

Required Skill Set

61 Able to work from concept drawing through development until production.

61 Familiar in operation of CAD software.

61 Understand the application, production process and limitation of different materials in toys manufacturing.

61 Good command of both written and spoken English.

Required Qualifications & Experience

61 Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.

61 At least 5 years experiences in the (Hard / Soft Toys) industry.

61 Familiar in toys development process, mold making / debug and different production processes using in toys manufacturing.

61 Hand on experience in handling fashion dolls / licenced products and understand the licensor’s approval processes.

61 Additional experience in electronic toys will be an advantage.

61 Has knowledge in the (Hard / Soft Toys) industry standards for different countries.
