职位描述

Purpose/Role Summary:
Develop supplier manufacturing and process controlling capabilities, proceed verification and improvement to support commodity strategy deployment, supplier performance improvement to deliver related goals. This role reports to the lead SQE.
Key Accountabilities:
Assess supplier process capabilities (including manufacturing and control system maturity) to identify the risks and development areas.
Develop and implement supplier process capabilities development plan to support SD project execution.
Support product development at suppliers with product engineering, including APQP planning and execution and PPAP process.
Lead non-complying product issues problem solving (8D/CAR) to work together with supplier for root cause analysis, correction and prevention taken to improve supplier quality performance.
Work with the commodity team (US and China) in ongoing process improvement projects and initiatives deployments.
10% Asia travel required annually, majorly in China domestic and Southeast Asia.
Critical Skills/Knowledge:
Bachelors/University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience may be considered.
Solid knowledge on ISO9001 system, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and Sampling inspection.
Solid problem solving and analytical skills related to product design, function failures and process failures analysis.
Knowledge on drawing reading, geometric tolerances, measuring theory & method.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good communication, coordination and presentation skill in English.
Good commend of MS. Office (WORD, Outlook, Excel), ERP/SAP. Access, PBI skills are preferred.
5+ years’ experience in supplier Quality Management or Quality Assurance.
