QA ENGINEER - TOYS, TOY COSMETIC, GAMES & GIFTS

61At least 5 years experience in QA/QC field with 3 years or more at Engineer grade in Toys, Consumer Electronics, Cosmetics, Games & Gifts Industry;

61Sound knowledge of EU/UK/USA Toy Safety and Reliability testing standards and requirements a must. Global and Retailer Requirements familiarity an advantage;

61Strong analytical mind, independent with excellent problem solving skills;

61Works effectively in a Team Work Environment;

61Familiar in Product Assessment and active involvement in the development of new products from concept to shipment stage;

61Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office;

61Self-motivated, well organized, responsible, hardworking and mature;

61Excellent communication skills with Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Job Duties:

61Product risk assessment, evaluation and compliance qualifications from concept to different stages of product development including artwork review and performing internal test necessary on the product;

61Work closely with different departmental colleagues to provide daily support in safety and reliability of the product;

61Review and complete the necessary documents including test reports, MSDS, TRA, SDS, CLP for maintenance of Toy Safety Directive Technical file;

61Generate Product Quality Specifications and identify critical points to ensure product is manufactured according to company standards;

61Communicate with support groups e.g. laboratories, vendors, factories suppliers and internally within company departments;

61Negotiate with laboratories on cost;

61Travel to factory is a must for production / process evaluation and monitoring;

61Coordinates with vendors in completing requirement prior to inspection;

61Attend to product failures, rejects, customer complaints and work with the vendor on completing Root Cause and Corrective Actions;
