Mechanical design leader

- Challenge the technical choices to promote the reduction of time to market and cost of production while ensuring product quality

- Pilot design reviews and make design documentation available

- Study and design, from the external and internal functional analysis, innovative solutions: Arguments and selected solutions

- Participate in the development of the design file (3D CAD*, cost quotation, drawings, calculation, testing ...), according to the current metier process development, as part of the development of new products or improvement of existing products.

- Ensure good communication and alignment of needs with other product line managers and external stakeholders.

- Report team information, alert and propose solutions to project management and line managers.

- Apply and apply the development process, propose developments of this process (adjustments, optimizations) respecting its foundations: guarantee the quality of development, ensure development times and capitalize knowledge.

- Participate in the drafting of functional analyses, verify the completeness of the technical specifications review. Ensure traceability of requirements and their documentation.

- Have a 00client03 view of the needs expressed and share it with the project team: go beyond the technical issues to understand the purpose of the function and the client’s need

Education & background required：

-Bachelor’s degree oriented Mechanical or mechatronics, you have solid experience (5-10 years) on a similar position.

-You have a solid knowledge of mechanics and/or mechatronics

-You master the industrial design, functional dimension as well as 3D CAD and simulation.

-Good knowledge of electrical engineering, low voltage and energy market would be a plus

-Good knowledge of six sigma, with green belt would be a plus

-Emotional intelligence, leadership, adaptability and team spirit are all personal qualities required to develop in this position

-Evolving in an international context, the command of English is essential.

-International occasional travel is to be expected.
