Applied Value Group is a renowned boutique management consulting firm that partners with global Fortune 500 companies. We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst/Consultant to join our Shanghai office. As an Analyst/Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our case teams and will be involved in a diverse range of projects across various industries.

Position Overview:

As an Analyst/Consultant at Applied Value Group, you will immerse yourself in the management consulting field. You will be an integral part of our case teams, gaining significant exposure and hands-on experience. In addition to your core consulting responsibilities, you will also participate in the sales process, including client and project identification, preparation of sales materials, and involvement in sales meetings.

Responsibilities:

Perform extensive analytical work to support consulting projects.

Synthesize analysis to formulate actionable and value-added conclusions.

Conduct in-depth research on industries, companies, and markets.

Generate high-quality client deliverables.

Interact and collaborate with client teams.

Participate in the sales process, including client outreach and sales meetings.

Be prepared to travel internationally to deliver casework, with possible destinations including Sweden and the United States.

Global Training:

Attend global training sessions twice a year, with one training typically held in Europe during the spring and one in the Americas during the autumn.

Background & Qualifications:

Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree from a top academic institution, with a preference for quantitative majors such as engineering or finance.

Fluent in English and Mandarin; proficiency in an additional language (e.g., Swedish, Japanese, Korean) is a plus.

Ability and willingness to travel extensively.

Commitment to high-quality client and business development delivery.

Familiarity with the management consulting industry.

2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred (for Consultant), 1-2 years of relevant experience (for Analyst), but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
