Main tasks, primary responsibilities of position:
61 Responsibility for the material group- and supplier management in the segment of mechanical-, electromechanical components and wire harness for OEM products according to drawings
61 Independent, systematic study of the purchasing markets for the above-mentioned product groups
61 Supervision of the components from the prototype, *** sample phase to series introduction
61 Identification, selection and qualification, and assessment of suppliers
61 Independent negotiation about prices, terms, delivery times for framework contracts
61 Assist in the design and optimization of purchasing processes
61 Development of potential savings
61 Active participation in the project team
61 Work with sales, design, production and quality department
Experience and qualifications required:
61 Successfully completed study of industrial engineer or business degree with high technical understanding or equivalent in practice
61 Several years of experience in strategic purchasing with an international focus
61 Experience with stamping-, die-casting-, cold-forging components, wire harness and battery cell is an advantage
61 Results-oriented and confident appearance in negotiations
61 Speaking and writing skills: Chinese (native), English (fluent)
61 Good ERP and MS Office skills preferable
61 Effective negotiating skills
61 General understanding of automotive Quality Systems
