QA 质检员(家具产品）

The product approval technologist to provide support on assigned projects to ensure the product and manufacture process designed and manufactured in accordance with NEXT quality requirements. This position will execute product quality assurance activities including but not limited to sample approval, conduct the inline and final inspection, manufacturing quality and process improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Conduct the inline and final inspection according to next quality standard and law policy

-Sign off production (black seal) and shipping samples (Gold seal) per design brief/buying brief and UK tech comment. Mostly work in Zhangzhou City our key supplier factory.

-Prepare and submit inspection report within the timeframe required by the company.

-Follow up quality issues such as UK customers, UK Tech team and suppliers.

-Communicate with suppliers to solve quality issues found during inspections and report final solutions to the line manager.

-Willing to work under pressure and flexibility to travel frequently when required to achieve inspection deadlines.

-Dealing with production and material problems with supplier, problem cause analysis and provide problem solution and improvement approach.

-Ensure corrective action plans are implemented with our suppliers.

-To work with our UK tech teams to provide information in relation to products and customer requirements.

-Maintain regular communication with our factories.

-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

-Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Job Qualifications – Education and Experience

-Minimum of 5 years’ experience in furniture quality control or manufacturing field.

-College diploma or above.

-Integrity, sense of urgency, collaborative team style, and ability to quickly adapt to changes in priorities with strong decision-making skills.

-Written communication skills are necessary for technical report writing, and strong follow-up skills.

-Ability to exercise independent judgment and carry out responsibilities with a minimum of direction.

-Good understanding of manufacturing Quality processes for furniture and home products,

-With knowledge of UKDR, UKFR and UK test requirements are preferred.

-Fluent in both written and oral English and Mandarin

-Proficient in Microsoft office software such as excel, word etc.
