Laboratory Testing Engineer

- Keep the laboratory clean and organized, arrange the maintenance of test equipments, and keep the sample stocks tidy.

- In the Test Laboratory (Pacific Access' Own Laboratory), test and evaluate sample's quality, find out all potential defects and write detailed test report, submit it to the supplier and verify supplier's improving results until it's acceptable.

- In the Test Laboratory, conduct EN 817, EN 200, EN 1111, EN 1112, EN 1113, EN15091 standard tests on Faucet, Shower Systems, Bathroom Accessories product range, prepare the test reports, submit them to Pacific Access Overseas Quality Department, follow the communication with Quality and R&D departments for the quality improvements.

- Execute the whole test plan for product launch (new product development projects), conduct the testing in the Test Laboratory

- Check the test reports of the products sent by Pacific Access Overseas Quality and R&D Departments about Faucet, Shower Systems, Bathroom Accessories product range, understand and evaluate them, take actions and plan testing accordingly to verify and improve the quality points

- Follow the sample testing process and imporve the problems during pre-production, mass production stages respectively, communicate with supplier for improvement methods.

- Manage the quality improvement projects and involve strictly to the details of the projects by communication the quality control, intitial quality, production, sales departments of the factories and Pacific Access own Quality and R&D teams.

- Prepare production process charts of the factories and improve them in quality and efficiency wise.

- If needed, Peform factory audits (base on ISO 9000 / 14000 requirements), process audits and product inspections.

- Working place in Pacific Access Shenzhen Test Laboratory with nesseary business travels to suppliers in other locations.

Qualifications:

- ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit Certified.

- Knowledge about EN 817, EN 200, EN 1111, EN 1112, EN 1113, EN15091 and other international standards for Faucet, Shower Systems, Bathroom Accessories product range. Use the test equipments to test the samples under the above-mentioned standards.

- Knowledge about, plastic injection, zamac injection, brass casting, grindg&polishing, electroplating processes.

- Able to read technical drawing.

- Using below quality tools properly and knowladge about new product development procedure

- FMEA , PPAP , MSA, SPC, 8D, 5S

- Follows up periodical maintance and calibration of devices in laboratory.

- Bachelor above, major in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.

- Working experience in famous Laboratories such as INTERTEK, SGS etc. or in the Laboratories of big factories on the product ranges of Faucet, Shower Systems, Bathroom Accessories is a plus.

- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Faucet, Shower Systems, Bathroom Accessories Laboratory testing, preferably in the test laboratories as Laboratory Engineer.

- Good command of both written and spoken English.

- Be able to work with colleague from different country and culture background.
