Your tasks:

Your full-time role in Shanghai will include a full range of interesting duties such as:

- Close customer collaboration and sales support in questions related to chemical topics

- Act as window between RnD in Germany, Sales Department, Product Management and customers in China/East Asia

- Enhance project development in terms of chemical input and chemical analytics

- Monitoring of local chemical legislation and support of the Chemical Compliance team in Germany

- Training of local sales colleagues in chemical items

- Joint-visits to the local customers and participate in seminars when necessary

Your qualifications:

- A master’s degree in chemistry with a major in polymer chemistry or macromolecular chemistry, PhD or Post Doc from an European University are an advantage

- Preferably a minimum of one year experience in the field of technical sales, product management or chemical research and development

- Good knowledge of chemical legislation and toxicology are an advantage

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Intercultural competence and very good communication skills in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal

- Willingness to travel internationally

- Dynamic, highly motivated, well organized, and detail oriented
