85Manage existing supplier performance in regards to quality and delivery reliability

85Work out with related to stakeholders to establish commodity strategy and work collaboratively and effectively across functions to enable teamwork when setting and implementing these commodity strategies

85Establish standard commodity policy, procedure for all PRC factories

85Drive for price, payment terms, contract terms & conditions improvement via aggressive negotiation or sourcing of new suppliers

85Drive for process improvement and standardization in PRC factories

85Build and coach Procurement team with right competency

85Understand supplier-manufacturing processes and help suppliers improve quality and lead times. It will be preferable if there is experiences on lean development

85Develop supplier assessment methods; follow through with implementation plans at supplier locations to resolve quality and delivery issues.

85Interface with sites and Supplier Quality Engineers to facilitate and issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR's) and ensure timely, complete responses are received and corrective actions implemented for supplier

85Develop and maintain up-to-date supplier performance history files related to China supplier capability and ratings by interfacing with supplier and site.

85Lead root cause analyses to resolve supplier issues or to assist with field failure resolution

85Critical material shortage ‘s Escalation and supply risk assessment –capacity, capability, finance issue ….

Qualifications & Skills:

80Bachelor degree with a major in science / engineering or above

80Advanced knowledge of manufacturing in at least one of molding, stamping, tooling or machining process

80At least 5 years experience in technical sourcing /purchasing in mechanical manufacturing environment

80Supplier development and experience with a specific commodity (molding, stamping, tooling or machining, motor, cable/connector…)

80Broad understanding of international business operations and financial analysis

80Proficient oral and written communication skills. (English)

80Strong personal computer skills e.g. MS Office and associated software

80Experience and knowledge in Kingdee ERP are preferred
