L2 Senior System Engineer（Kubernetes ）

61 Docker/Kubernetes deployment, configuration, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

61 Hardening, securing the Kubernetes cluster with monitoring and auditing dashboards

61 Strong technical analytical and troubleshooting skills and possess an ability to explain technical concepts and provide guidance to staff.

61 Proficient to expert scripting and automation skills converting manual and maintenance functions into fully orchestrated automation.

61 Must have Strong Knowledge & experience in system monitoring techniques and tools supporting unattended operations.

61 Ability to operate in complex, highly secure, and highly available, operations environments and interact with the technology domain experts required to maintain those environments.

61 Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Coaching other members of the support team, sharing technical and customer knowledge in a helpful and timely fashion

61 Responsible for partnering with the Platform, Engineering and Delivery Teams to deliver seamless infrastructure support for all business lines.

61 Security Remediation process (vulnerability assessment and patch management)

61 Contribute to standardize and document operational procedures.

61 Responsible for adherence of established ITIL practice such as Incident, Change, Problem and Release Management

61 Be scheduled On-Call to support the infrastructure and our systems.

Qualifications

61 Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited university. ( BS. with 5+ years’ work experience and MS. with 3+ years’ work experience )

61 Experience working in large, complex, enterprise datacenter environments.

61 At least 5 years hands-on experience with On-Prem container Infrastructure – Mirantis Kubernetes-MKE, OpenShift, Kubernetes preferred.

61 At least 5 years of Linux Systems Administration skills

61 At least 5 years of Scripting experience (Shell, Python, Ansible, Terraform and YAML packages)

61 Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, terraform etc.) is must.

61 Working with tools surrounding the Kubernetes ecosystem such as helm, kubeadm, CSI, CNI etc.

61 Knowledge in infrastructure technologies such as HP and DELL hardware (Rack servers)

61 Working knowledge of monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent Bit, Netcool, Humio

61 Good to have experience with Microservices based applications traffic routing ( i.e., Istio Service Mesh )

61 Deep understanding of networking concepts

61 Certified in ITIL Foundation V3/V4 and familiar with ITIL framework for incident, problem, and change and request management is highly preferred.

61 Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

61 Ability to lead cross-functional teams on key infrastructure projects.

61 Ability to learn new technologies and paradigms.

61 Strong hands-on technical and engineering expertise allied with business acumen.

61 Strong planning, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

61 Proficient in oral and written English, with strong inter-personal skills.
