Senior Solution Consultant provides technical support in Aspen Engineering Solution for our team in China. The solution consulting team is tasked with supporting the sales process with knowledge of the AspenTech solutions and services, value definition and industry vertical knowledge to develop customer centric solution architecture and business case, as well as developing and maintaining key relationships with AspenTech's clients and prospects. The incumbent will be responsible for working with our account managers and the technical community within our clients.

The successful incumbent must have strong business acumen and customer interaction skills. The role requires the ability to understand customer challenges and industry drivers, formulate potential solutions from Aspen's portfolio, build and justify the business case for client investment, and work with the direct sales force in the sales process.

61 Apply your technical skills in customer-facing situations to identify customer pains and understand their business and operational issues.

61 Facilitate customer understanding of Aspen Engineering solution technical functionality, value creation and business process improvement.

61 Articulate the overall or specific solution and provide the vision with an understanding of the customer's business and technology needs, AspenTech's previous successes and the competitive landscape.

61 Participate and/or lead customer consulting engagements to facilitate sales, including demonstrations, workshops, value assessments, and technical seminars. Proactively support pipeline development (e.g., account planning, workshop, etc.) and sales execution for assigned accounts and opportunities.

61 Develop commercial proposals for assigned opportunities.

61 Accountable for achieving personal targets such as productivity, bookings and other Solution Consulting related targets.

What You’ll Need

61 B.S. in Engineering with 5-10 years practical experience in consulting, technology, and/or industry.
工程学士学位,具有5-10年的咨询、技术和/或工业实践经验。
61 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Aspen Engineering products/solutions.
至少5年的艾斯本工程产品/解决方案的工作经验。
61 Experience in the process manufacturing industries.

61 Have rich experience in simulation modeling or familiar with Aspen Solution such as HYSYS, Aspen Plus etc.

61 Chemical and/or refining industry experience strongly preferred.
