Sourcing Merchandiser

Resource problematic projects to solid backup suppliers with proper cost reduction and matching quality.

Train and guide new suppliers to meet Umbra standard and perform in the next 4-6 months before other teams take over.

Manage resourced orders from beginning to end, ensure orders are shipped in the required leadtime, quality should match previous production.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Source qualified suppliers for new project and material within required timeline and at proper cost as per requests from Sales/CM/PD team.

·

Resource problematic products to solid backup vendors for more margin

·

Sign Y/L and G/Y sample at resourced vendors

·

Responsible for

all resourcing orders on time delivery.

·         Responsible for

all orders’ spec and artwork and make sure vendor got all the necessary spec & artwork for all their orders before mass production

Responsible for reporting to overseas head office; communicate directly with sales, buyers, KA and CM for all the issues happened in Asia and provide action plan.

·

Responsible for shipment arrangement, consolidate orders among vendors to save local delivery cost.

·

Responsible for quality improvement, communicate with quality team and help vendor solve quality problems.

·

Responsible for all products’ costing, negotiate price with vendor, continuously watch for the raw materials’ price change in the mass market.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR…

niversity education or above,

major in international

trade

or English;

·

At least 5 years

work

ing experience

in sourcing and merchandising;

·

Good command of MS office Programs (including words, excel, ppt, outlook…etc.);

·

Good command of oral and written English;

·

skills

with colleagues and vendors;

·

High level of energy and self motivation, open and direct in communication;

·

Well-organized and work well under pressure.
