Regional Business Controller (MJ000362)

Atlas Copco Power Technique Greater China looking for a Regional Business Controller (Greater China -China Mainland, Hong Kong, ***) to support our business.

The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner and an integral part of the management team for the Power Technique Customer Centre. This position will report to, and work closely with, the General Manager and will take responsibility for the development of best practice in all areas of business control.

Mission Statement

The Business Controller’s mission will include supporting the management by;

- preparing accurate and timely reports and analysis in accordance with FAM and the business requirements

- ensuring that financial reporting is in accordance with The Way we Do Things

- identifying best practices and opportunities to work in a better way

- driving a cost conscious culture

- ensuring customer focus in all aspects of the business control function

- taking responsibility for credit control, order management, general accounting, payables and fixed assets

- raising "red flags" whenever compliance with sound business principles are at risk

- assisting in the development of financial competence and understanding within the organization

- being a champion for ‘The Way we do Things..’

- developing sound communications with all stakeholders including Divisional Controlling functions

- Responsible to fully harvest and enhance SAP ACT! and related systems for the region.

- Strong focus to further and enhance customer satisfaction via world class logistical/operational capability.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Experience requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ of practical experience in business control or in a senior accounting or business controller support role. Will be able to demonstrate experience with ERP and accounting systems and statutory accounting requirements. Knowledge of Customer Finance, logistics and tax issues will be a plus.

Experience in SAP will be a plus.

Knowledge

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in accounting or a similar discipline who can demonstrate sound knowledge of The Way, accounting practices and Atlas Copco systems.

Fluency in English is required.

Educational requirements

University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar.
