化工工程师

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure a supply availability of the world-class quality of rubber, EVA, PU, and thermoplastic components and adhesive applications, and other chemical products from T1/T2 within the country. Acts as the expert technical resource to the BU for all chemical related issues.

2. Provides the technical expertise to ensure compliance of rubber and EVA compounds , monitors compliance, and modifies formulations as standards evolve.

3. Engages with Innovation teams to understand consumer and business requirements and leads research, experimentation, formulation, testing, and effective transition of compounds, materials, and processes from development to production.

4. Support sustainability initiatives with T1/T2/T3, Brands, and Innovation team on the sustainable topic of bottom materials or finished components i.e. Bio-based, Loop Recycle, Organic fillers, Low carbon footprint in manufacturing processes, Eco & Environment friendly raw-material, FSC rubber.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 15 years’ experience in polymer development and Production footwear

2. Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of rubber, EVA, PU, foam manufacturing processes.

3. Expert knowledge in footwear bottoming material compounding for all Rubber, EVA, PU, TPU, TPE, and other polymer and foaming materials

4. Extensive knowledge of footwear bottom component commercialization process and with expertise in product and process engineering.

5. Familiar with industrial test standards for bottoms for footwear applications

6. Bachelor or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent work experience
