CNC Process Engineer

61 Conduct 3D/2D drawings review and drive issue closure with product design/ENG team.

61 Review and approve DFM for CNC machining & polishing processes and fixture kick off.

61 Analyze yield data and FAI/CPK reports to assess suppliers’ capability to meet design intent, plan and conduct DOE to improve process efficiency, reduce cycle time, and increase functional, cosmetic, and dimensional yields;

61 Collaborate with SQE to Develop/implement/monitor supplier Quality Control Plans for early detection of quality issues to ensure parts meet or exceed quality and reliability requirements

61 Lead CNC & Polishing process qualification, including machine, fixture, cutter, polishing consumables to support project ramp up.

61 Evaluate potential suppliers for their manufacturing and quality capabilities based on project needs.

Minimum Qualifications

61 5 years or above experience in CNC manufacturing area for mechanical

components.

61 Strong ability to work & communicate with written and verbal English.

61 Expertise in CNC (Computer numerical control) manufacturing process in achieving stable dimension, good cosmetic, short cycle time.

Preferred Qualifications

61 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering

61 Knowledge of surface finishing operations for SUS/Aluminum: Polishing, Lapping, Sand blasting, Anodizing.

61 Knowledge of SUS/Aluminum raw materials control & FA.

61 Comfortable working both independently and as a team player in a globally distributed team. Demonstrated sense of ownership, detail oriented, organized and hands-on.

61 Hands-on experience with CNC G-Code and CAM (computer-aided

manufacturing) programming

61 Strong skills leading problem-solving processes: problem definition, containment, occurrence/escape root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action planning and execution.

61 Experience with interpretation of design drawings/GD&T, schematics, and cosmetic standards for creation.

61 Ability to use common data analysis tools.
