Key Objectives

Digital Features and Services Program Management role in DGRC, focusing on Mercedes-Me App Project to steer for cross-functional activities, decision making as well as key strategic project roll out with counterparts from RD, Marketing & Sales, IT, Aftersales and other functions. Drive for successful Mercedes-Me App new releases, new features on-time roll-out. Define processes and strategy for Mercedes-Me App future content and deployment for MBC passenger cars customers in China according to company strategy. Also to manage interfaces with relevant counterparts in HQ.

This role is part of the “Digital Features & Services Program Management” team under DGRC Program Management center. This role is essential in ensuring close collaboration of worldwide functional teams and smooth execution of both global and local activities and will directly influence the future MBOS strategic offering to the MB product in China.

Key Tasks

Organize and steer APP core strategic decisions committees, drive for strategic discussions and decision making in topics such as APP iterative target picture, requirement prioritization and roll-out scope;

Facilitate proper IT tools or proper documentation mechanism to form transparency of APP project progress across key stakeholders and key functions (from concept, requirement, development, testing & release, data analysis to iterations);

Elaborate processes, methods and standards to define continuous APP improvement and enhancement strategy, considering also APP business case factor;

Be a part of the team culture that constantly looking for innovations and improvements, in regards to AD product strategy, new AD concepts and technical scouting, and cross-functional collaboration model.

Qualifications

University Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in E&E, Computer Science, or Business Adminstration. Excellent learning ability with new trends & knowledge quickly;

3+ years PMO or Development working experience in APP company, car owner APP company experience as a plus. Fluent in English speaking and writing;

Highly motivated in Automotive technologies, car-related lifestyle products and requirements. Good business sense and strong ability in steering for cross-functional collaborations. Able to work under significant uncertainties and pressure;

Strong project management skills and facilitate relevant tools (Confluence, Jira …), able to steer sophisticated projects with complex cross-functional work package setup and drive for high quality deliveries and keeping key project milestones. PMP is a must, SCRUM master experience as a plus;

Highly experienced in creating thoughtful and provoking presentations for management that fits to the overall target and strategy;

Experience as a plus: ICV/AD or Telematics trend knowledge, Car OEM Apps project management.
