Connector Design Engineer

1. To learn customer requirement, development, product extension & design new product, Project transfer cooperation.

2. Coordinate & response to new product design, product sustaining and project transfer.

3. New product cost analysis, feasibility study, and concept design.

4. Detailed product design and product development follow with procedure and engineering regulation.

5. Existing product modification, extension for new part number.

6. Provide the technical support for customer.

7. Responsible for ECR, ECN.

8. Responsible for customer’s new sample requirement.

9. Assist QA for quality issue solving and customer’s application troubleshooting.

10. Be product engineer role in product transfer team.

Education, Experienced, Knowledge & Skills required:

1. Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical / Electric engineering or related.

2.Able to communicate (reading, writing, speaking and listening) in English.

3. Be familiar with Round connector such as M8/M12 series products etc .

4. Above 2 years work experience on connector design and manufacturing experience

5. Skill of AutoCAD, UX ; CAD Software for drafting and modeling.

6.Connector design and manufacturing technologies.

7.Connector materials – resin and metal.

8.Design problem solving skills – 8D, DFMEA, Tolerance Analysis etc

9. Have the knowledge about molding / stamping and assembly process.

10. Can design new harness such as crimping to wire terminal independently.

11. Good communication with other teams & customers skill
