I. Purpose of Position

The Finance Controller, China is responsible for preparing accurate internal and external reporting packages in compliance with China Accounting rule and US GAAP. He or she needs to lead monthly financial reporting, Statistics and Quarterly schedules on the Corporate required dates and take charge of standardizing, documenting and executing financial policies, procedures and controls in accordance with corporate guidelines, and in compliance with local regulations, implement and continuously improve internal controls that ensure accurate reporting and proper safeguarding of company assets. In addition, the finance controller should also provide leadership to continuously improve working capital for the company, drive the action taken place on productivity and profitability optimization.

II. Key Responsibilities

Lead functions of accounting and controllership and make continuous improvement in the finance infrastructure to provide timely and accurate management information.

Manage internal and external reporting, support internal and external audits

Taxation

Revenue recognition review

Treasury and Banking

Provide strong leadership to the team to support business while at the same time focusing on developing team core competence through a series of development initiatives such as on-the-job training, coaching

Take on other special projects as assigned.

III. Education, Background and Skill Requirements

Minimum 10 years’ experience with at least 4 years’ experience in financial management roles including prior experience as senior finance manager or similar level position

Excellent ability to work with senior executive team and in a matrix-based reporting structure

Ability to define, implements, improve and adhere to policies and procedures

Excellent documentation and effective communication skills required

Ability to work under strict deadlines

Proven experiences and results in processes that provide excellent Internal Controls.

Excellent knowledge and practical understanding of applicable China accounting policy, tax regulation, and US GAAP.02

Independent and strong sense of integrity.

Proficiency in analysis of financial results to identify variations and trends that indicate possible exposures and the need for countermeasures.

Working capital analysis and management.

Strong interpersonal skills

Proactive problem-solving skills

Excellent PC skills, preferably experienced in Hyperion, Oracle and Microsoft Excel to improve productivity in providing timely and accurate financial statements.

Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar discipline

Public Accountancy experience desirable

CPA certification desirable
