Main job responsibilities:
83 Strategic and operational
61 Technical and commercial support for existing and potential new customers.
61 Customer support as part of the product segment strategy with regular customer presence.
61 Cooperation with the customer's product development team in an advisory capacity (technical contact person).
61 Management or participation in project-specific or periodic negotiations with customers.
61 Provide customized technology training internally and externally to key customers; promote the technology capability of Datwyler and the brand.
61 Internal communication of customer technical and commercial requirements as well as creation and monitoring of corresponding actions.
61 Budgeting and monitoring of assigned products.
83 Acquisition process
61 Acquisition of "new business" in cooperation with the Key Account Manager (KAM).
61 This is expressly not limited to new business with existing customers, but also opportunities outside the current portfolio.
61 Assessment and support of new and existing customers and projects
61 Contacting new customers as part of the Mobility BU marketing mix and the defined strategy.
61 coordinating the technical contract review
83 Offer process
61 Provision of data for the offer process (material, drawing, standards, specifications and specific requirements)
61 Clarify technical customer requirements
61 Responsible for the preparation of offers in cooperation with the offer team.
61 Qualified follow-up of the offers and feedback to the Head of Sales and CoC
83 Product development process
61 Technical advice in the customer's product development process
61 Technical and commercial contract review
61 Forwarding of all project-relevant information and documents (including correct archiving) for prototype, pre-series and series to the appropriate internal departments
Job qualifications:
61 Deep technical understanding and knowledge about the General Industrial environment and technologies, especially deep and advanced knowledge of the production and application of rubber and silicon components
61 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or chemical or macromolecule specialty
61 5+ years’ experience in the mobility market – ability to hit the ground running
61 Proficient in SolidWorks and related engineering programs is preferred
61 Purposeful, communicative and customer-oriented personality with a high affinity for the Mobility industry
61 Good analytical, technical and financial skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally, good team player and self-starter
61 Self-directed/motivated, comfortable working in home office as well as office environments
61 Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
61 English proficiency (verbal and written)
61 Willingness to travel for customer visits, conferences and within Datwyler
- In field 2-4 days per week (customer visits)
- Mostly local travel (Ningguo and surrounding Shanghai area)
