职位描述

1.Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to take the responsibility and accountability for Product Costing accounting & controllership; and also Financial Reporting on Inventory and Product Costing for APAC entities.
The role requires to
1) ensures accuracy & timely closure of inventory and product costing financial data with full reconciled basis reporting,
2) interact with Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions to evaluate inventory substance,
3) identify the risk in costing process and propose a change,
4) lead process improvement for efficiency and standardization within the region.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the timely closure and reporting for Product Cost Accounting during month end closing to ensure accuracy of the actual periodic unit price for material ledger provision. Periodical review of process order variance reports and analyzes manufacturing variances (e.g. yield loss, machine hour variance).
2. Manage financial control and reporting in inventory, product costing processes to identify potential risks & controllership enhancement opportunities including but not limited process compliance, proper review/authorization and documentation etc.. Propose process change as per risk assessment result.
3. Support tax planning for transfer pricing on product costing and operating margin validation activity. Understand on complex business structure & issue to be able to compute & follow up company’s financial planning strategy.
4. Lead Tolling inventory reconciliation process with SCM & manufacturing team to allow tolling buyer able to fairly present inventory value in the financial statement. Analyze the profitability difference in budget vs actual tolling and contract manufacturing price, which will return legal and managerial profitability to targeted position.
5. Identify Inventory obsolescence and net realizable value analysis in accordance with accounting standards and internal policy to ensure inventories are properly valuated at reporting period.
6. Audit the counting result in the annual physical stock take and cycle counting with local external auditors and SCM team. Prepare Corporate reports of physical count results with variance analysis and observation on inventory management process.
7. Own process improvements and standardization including upstream processes and local implementation of global initiatives for local plant. Provide advice and guidance to cross function on areas impacting inventory and product Costing.
8. Respond to Company’s audit requests relating to inventory and product costing from internal and external auditors. Data preparation, review & analysis, interview needed upon auditors' request, and own the action of audit recommendation with SCM and manufacturing team.

Education & Training
Degree holder in Accounting or Finance is minimum
Qualified CPA, ACCA or its equivalent (preferred)
2.Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inventory, costing at MNCs with physical manufacturing environment
Big 4 CPA experience preferred
3.Competency
1. Meticulous, organized & both results & detail-oriented
2. Mature, responsible, self-driven and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills,
1. Good working experience in SAP, FICO & Production Process module.
2. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
3. Strong understanding operation cycle from purchase to production to sales and knowledge on transfer pricing process and reporting requirements will be an added advantage.
4. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
