Sourcing Manager

61 Develop suppliers for NPI and implement value engineer projects.

61 Develop and implement site-specific sourcing strategies aligned with global and regional objectives.

61 Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and compliance metrics.

61 Plan, issue, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders using SAP.

61 Manage inventory to support production needs—maintain optimal stock levels and minimize disruption.

61 Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms, and contracts.

61 Act as the primary liaison between site teams and suppliers to resolve issues such as delays or quality concerns.

61 Track supplier performance through KPIs; escalate or phase out underperformers in collaboration with regional/global teams.

61 Analyze pricing, market trends, and contract opportunities to drive cost reductions.

61 Lead cost-benefit analyses and identify value-enhancement initiatives.

61 Ensure procurement processes meet internal policies, regulatory standards, and PerkinElmer’s Code of Conduct.

61 Maintain up-to-date records in ERP, including approved source lists, lead times, part specifications, and Certificates of Conformance.

61 Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and logistics teams to align sourcing with site requirements.

61 Provide regular updates and metrics to regional & global procurement leadership; participate in supplier review meetings.

Requirements:

61 Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field

61 5+ years’ experience in procurement/sourcing, preferably within manufacturing or electronics.

61 Strong negotiation skills with a proven record in supplier contract management.

61 Proficiency in ERP systems—SAP preferred.

61 Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese.

61 Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
