As the leader of Digital User Growth at Sephora, your role will involve shaping and executing the digital growth strategy. This includes managing digital analytics and insights capabilities and developing and executing innovative, data-driven strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and overall business growth. Your responsibilities will also include leading a high-performing team, collaborating with cross-functional partners to enhance digital user engagement, optimizing performance marketing campaigns, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Define a Digital Growth Strategy to drive online business growth and omni-channel digital synergies.
a. Develop and execute a comprehensive digital growth strategy to increase online acquisition, retention, stickiness and revenue.
b. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage emerging trends to stay ahead in the digital landscape. Lead the digital growth team to foster innovation and collaboration.
2. Plan online traffic and optimize performance marketing.
a. Develop and implement performance-driven strategies on digital channels to acquire and recall customers by media by channel.
b. Manage and optimize marketing budgets for cost-effective strategies. Use analytics tools to track metrics and provide insights to optimize campaigns and achieve KPIs.
3. Increase consumer stickiness with enhanced consumer engagement.
a. Collaborate with E-commerce, Product, and Technology teams to optimize the online shopping experience, ensuring user stickiness and returns with engagement plan through multiple touchpoints like performance ads, APP push notifications, WeChat service notifications, etc.
b. Implement A/B testing and other experimentation methods to enhance the digital customer journey by identifying mark-tech tool development opportunities, including but not limited to reaching methods, performance tracking, user segmentations, and content personalization.
4. Business Intelligence & Analytics
a. You'll lead the analysis of large datasets to extract actionable insights with a team and business partners to develop and execute a comprehensive business intelligence strategy, craft a growth equation, and quantify goals aligned with Sephora's digital business growth objectives.
b. Collaborate with the Data team to establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience (8+ years) in a leadership role focused on digital growth, preferably in the retail or DTC businesses. Experience in growing mobile APP-based businesses is a plus.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing, and customer behavior in the online space.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, and e-commerce technologies.
- Excellent command of written & spoken English and Chinese
