Job Summary:
The Deputy Manager of Customs Logistics will assist in managing the customs logistics operations, ensuring compliance with regulations while optimizing the supply chain process. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing logistics teams, and overseeing the customs clearance process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing customs logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage and supervise the customs clearance process for imports and exports.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and support to logistics staff on customs regulations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of customs transactions and documentation.
- Assist in resolving any customs-related issues or disputes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in customs logistics or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
