Account Manager - Corporate Sales
客户经理 – 企业客户销售
Location: Shanghai
Role Introduction:
To achieve and exceed the agreed Corporate and Travel Management Company (TMC) sales targets through intelligent use of data. Continuously seek to acquire new business and establish Cathay in new markets, while proactively negotiating and managing existing Corporate and TMC accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1、Revenue Generations
1)Acquire high value accounts as per agreed targets using a data and insight driven approach
2)Initiate and follow up on sales actions, obtain sales leads and dynamically seek new business
3)Assist in transforming the culture from one of relationship-based selling to an insights-driven smarter selling Sales force
4)Engage in consultative and insightful selling techniques and services with an enhanced focus on new business development
5)Help to promote BP solution to local partner and direct corporate client.
6)Manage the relationship with local commercial chamber and proactively explore the collaboration opportunities.
2、Portfolio Management
1)Help to contribute to the strategic partnership and manage the local relationship for Global Corporates or Global TMCs
2)Service existing portfolio or accounts / TMCs in order to maintain and grow the value (focusing on revenue not necessarily the growth in portfolio size)
3)Regularly make sales visits to clients to conduct presentations, seminars, provide updates on products and services in order to enhance sales opportunities and facilitate sales
4)Actively seek ways to improve the quality of the revenue generated by the portfolio
5)Ensure that appropriate prioritisation allows for focus on the top revenue generating corporate accounts and TMCs
6)Negotiate discount rates, commissions and contracts in a timely manner against a background of data and yields the best return on investment
7)Be the airline’s ambassador within the portfolio to maintain strong relationships ensuring positive strong brand position
8)Besides traditional TMC channels, explore new sales channels to drive sales and CX brand awareness.
3、General
1)Actively manage the cost of sales needed to generate the revenue within the mandated parameters
2)Closely monitor the effectiveness of incentive/discount schemes by conducting regular and timely performance reviews in order to maximise available and potential sales opportunities
3)Actively promote the use of new tools and technology to enhance communication, convenience, efficiency and service experience in support of corporate travel business
4)Ensure knowledge and application of MICE and specialty segments (marine, energy resources and humanitarian) to assist in revenue generation and adoption within the portfolio
5)Drive adoption and penetration of Business Plus
6)Utilise Salesforce to manage new and existing customers and sales activities
7)Utilise PRISM to track the performance of the contracts
8)Represent Cathay at industry and networking events
9)Make best use of TMC and business partnerships channels (Wechat account, APP, B2B platform, etc) to increase CX products and brand awareness.
10)Any other reasonable task as requested

Qualifications / Experience:
1、Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Sales business field
2、Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
1)A minimum of three years recent experience in Sales
2)Knowledge of, or experience in, the airline industry is a distinct advantage
3)Demonstrable networking and relationship management skills
4)Has an achievement-based record in achieving targets
5)Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6)Good negotiation skills
7)Good level of PC literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
8)Knowledge of PRISM, MIDT and Sales Force Automation Tool is preferred
9)Adaptive to and embraces constant change
