61 Develop quality control systems in supplier chain, production to ensure steady quality on material

61 Lead Nonconformance Review for issue root cause identification as well as corrective and preventive actions

61 Provide strong visibility of nonconformance issues, associated projects, and progress in the form of a dashboard-style format with critical success indicators

61 Drive, design and manufacture quality improvements utilizing a data-based decision-making approach, rapid problem resolution, collaboration with engineers and internal customers and relentless continuous process/engineering improvements

61 Analyze the effectiveness of the quality system and coordinate quality related issues with other departments, suppliers and customers

61 Analyze current quality monitoring methods, systems, and tools and develop and implement new ones to increase effectiveness and efficiency

61 Promotes use of statistical analysis for determination of improvements, and provides analyses to support risk mitigation

61 Implement quality plans for new or revised materials and/or products

61 Support line audits as well as *** Article and receiving inspection functions

61 Evaluate work methods, procedures, and policies while also coaching and mentoring functional groups and departments on quality processes

61 Work cooperatively with all members of the Supply Chain and Product Development teams and with third-party manufacturers.

61 Support new product development teams

61 Generate training materials and programs as required, and conduct training sessions to support quality system

61 Ensuring all products are manufactured in compliance with product requirements, safety standards and design specifications, including fixture and tooling analysis

61 Identify areas of systemic weakness and leads initiatives to implement corrective action

61 Supports efforts in conjunction with manufacturing and engineering to develop plans for continual improvement of product and process quality

Basic Qualifications:

61 Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering or technical degree

61 Strong Welding process knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

61 2+ years of industrial experience.

61 Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

61 Ability to influence

61 Ability to compile and analyze data

61 Understanding SPC, and process capability determination

61 Technical expertise to identify root cause through data analysis

61 Ability to evaluate, develop and implement improvements quickly

61 Excellent problem-solving skills

61 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to teach other team members

61 Ability to work independently and within a team

61 Ability to coordinate assignments among multiple support groups and provide direction for project team members

61 Ability to evaluate product and process change requests to ensure product quality is not compromised

61 Ability to work well under compressed time constraints

61 Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time

61 Understanding of precision measurement instruments

61 Hands-on manufacturing/engineering experience in a fabrication/assembly shop environment

61 Experience supporting an ISO Quality System

61 Ability to eliminate Quality challenges using poke-yokes and Zero QC techniques

61 Ability to navigate various welding codes and standards such as AWS B2.1, D1.1, D1.2, and D14.9 along with design requirements as specified by Terex.

61 Ability to create and implement welding procedures.

61 Understanding of weld inspection equipment and their applications. Ability to inspect welds using these tools and other methods.

61 Basic knowledge of various forms of NDT, specifically MT and PT with the ability to apply these methods.
