Senior Merchandise Manager - Hardgoods

Job Descriptions

- Create and enhance long-term business relationships with customers to achieve business & logistic KPIs

- Manage the team to achieve division’s business objectives.

- Build and maintain a strong vendor network to meet customers’ current and future business needs.

- Responsible for managing the performance of vendors, order management, production tracking till delivery and contract provision for suppliers.

- Identify areas for improvements, new sourcing opportunities and develop new business

- Drive business to win in the very fast changing and competitive market environment.

- Good at short product life cycle management and have knowledge management sense.

- Responsible to organize/facilitate buying trip/buying meeting with buyers

Requirements

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive global sourcing or supply chain experience in hardgoods for retailer environment required.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply Chain Management preferably

- Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process.

- Able to work under pressure, energetic, good can-do attitude, self- motivated, responsive, and proactive, team player.

- Strong coaching and team building skill and experience.

- Strong communication, negotiation skills, Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.

- Strong problem-solving skills. Able to manage multiple tasks environment.

- Result Oriented.

- Literate in Microsoft office programs.

- Travel is required.
