ABOUT THE ROLE
POSITION: HR Officer
LOCATION: Suzhou, China
Responsibilities:
01 Expatriate employment
o To provide response to all kinds of HR related enquires and assist in expat staff relocation process until onboarding
o To handle expat staff onboarding process by collecting required HR documentation, signing contract and issuing staff handbook, etc.
o To handle the contractual HR Expenses reimbursement (flight, housing, living allowance. And keep reimbursement data in HR system up to date.
o To follow up with the required documents for the purpose of visa application, CRB and filing;
o Responsible for whole process of expert certificate and visa of new expat candidates and annual renewal of existing expat staff and keep record of the visa cost.
o To Work closely with property agent for annual accommodation allocation plan and make sure the school accommodation is fully in line with the school standard in accordance with relevant school policy as well as through enhanced pre checking
with property agent.
01 Compensations and Benefits
o To be responsible for the payroll of all school employees.
o To be responsible for the salary of all peripatetic teachers, supply teachers and summer school teachers etc.
o To be responsible for following up the procedures of all employees’ SSI, housing funds.
o To be responsible for following up reimbursement procedures for relevant admin
staff’s allowance such as phone allowance, transportation allowance etc.
o To support and manage the daily maintenance requests and send out regular report on a monthly basis.
o To handle the exiting process by sending out leaving procedure, checking sign-off sheet and arranging final payment; keep other departments informed of exiting information.
01 Staff Attendance records
o To follow up procedures and paperwork for all kinds of leaves
o To be responsible for keeping an up-to-date staff’s attendance record
01 Employee Profile
o To keep the employee’s profiles updated and completed based on the NAE filing policy (both hard copies and soft copies)
o Filing and database Administration
o To provide data to other team members when necessary
o To maintain leaver’s profiles according to the HR policy (both hard copies and soft copies)
01 Others
o To support employees on applications of social security scheme related procedures, such as maternity allowance, retirement application etc.
o Any other special job tasks as designated by line manager
Job Specification
01 Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Experience
o Bachelor Degree or above in relevant subject (or equivalent)
o Relevant experience of working in Administration field
01 Skill
o Communication ability to well explain all HR related policies.
o Good understanding and reasonable knowledge of employment law stipulations
o Strong communication skill in English
o Personal IT skills
