Role Purpose & Statement：
The Production Manager supports the achievement of Foodservice Guangzhou business objectives and works towards improving our competitive position in the foodservice market by ensuring that we utilize an organization-wide long-term production strategy. The Production Manager successfully develops and implements key operations strategies and activities in order to assure high-quality products with appropriate resources and support Guangzhou Operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the production line to improve all production KPIs, including safety, delivery, quality and efficiency, waste, energy, to meet growth of the business
- Ensure products and manufacturing process to comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Plan department annual budget to ensure business growth.
- Collaborate with cross function team to deliver product on time and fulfil customer request.
- Drive continuous improvement to meet production KPIs.
- Report production KPIs to management team timely.
- Communicate and review team performance, regular meetings with production associates and performance reviews.
- Develop subordinates and grow team’s capability.
- Other task assigned by management team.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and above with major in engineering related disciplines
- Minimum 8+ years production management experience, food or package industry working experience is preferable; 3+ years of team management experience is a must.
- Skill to lead the team on root cause analysis. CI background is preferred
- Strong execution in action plan implementation
- Working experience in packaging industry or labour-intensive industry is preferred.
- Written and Oral skill in English
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Team working, responsibility and self-motivated
