Vishay Danshui is currently seeking applicants for a Partner Products Specialist - Quality and Operations. Responsible for Quality representative for Vishay that manages and coaches quality at our Partner Product Suppliers. Special emphasis on ensuring they meet automotive industry expectations. Provides on-site support at Partners related to Quality, Operations objectives and assists in resolving issues. Travel required 50% of time minimum.

Vishay Components (Huizhou) co., Ltd is one of the subordinate corporations of Vishay Group. We are located in the central area of Danshui Street, Huiyang District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. It is a bustling Greater Bay Area living circle (adjacent to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Dongguan).

What you will be doing:

- Travels to and meets on-site with Partner Product Suppliers

- Performs audits of suppliers to VDA

6.3, IATF16949, and ISO 9001 requirements

- Trains/coaches partner product suppliers to meet automotive requirements, including DOE, zero defect mindset, problem solving and root cause analysis (5Y, Fishbone, etc.)

- Works closely with Purchasing/Planning/Operations to address operational topics with suppliers - on time delivery, adequate capacity, etc

- Works closely with partner product suppliers on any quality issues. May be involved issuing corrective action requests. Coaches/assists in their containment, root cause analysis, systemic improvement, and follow up verification, as appropriate.

- Ensures partner product suppliers have a robust continuous improvement process to drive yield improvements, scrap reduction, error proofing, investigate new failure modes, etc.

- Makes MRB decisions on Vishay finished product, with input from Divisional Quality & Purchasing as appropriate

- Works with Divisional Quality & Engineering to recommend product changes, process changes, PCNs, raw material changes, etc., as needed to improve quality

- Provides input to or prepares performance reports

- Coordinates periodic business review meetings with suppliers & Divisional Purchasing & Quality.

What you will bring along:

- Minimum - Engineering degree

- Minimum 10 year of related experience managing quality in the automotive industry

- VDA-certified auditor required

- IATF 16949 Lead Auditor

- Project management experience

- Lean manufacturing / six sigma black belt preferred

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent English

- Statistical process control
