Senior Tax Consultant

1. Assist Manager and Senior Manager in handling tax engagements

2. Undertake research of tax assignments and draft the tax advisory for view

3. Liaise with clients on tax matters upon instructions from Manager/Senior Manager

4. Assist Manager and Senior Manager to build and maintain good relationships with clients and tax officers at various levels

5. Keep up to date tax knowledge to supplement technical skills

6. Coach junior staff, review and manage their work.

7. Actively participate in teamwork, follow internal work guidelines and quality standards, and provide a positive work environment to demonstrate team spirit.

8. Maintain accurate and organized tax documents and records, ensuring all information is readily available for audits or reviews.

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years working experience in a consulting firm, preferably as a tax senior in Tax, Accounting or other relevant subjects

2. Bachelor degree or above

3. Able to work independently as well as a team leader

4. Good knowledge and sufficient experience in Chinese tax laws and local practices

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

6. Good interpersonal and communication skills

7. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

8. Fluent written and verbal English

9. CPA or TA preferred

10. Good knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
