Credit Specialist （信用专员，合同工）

61 Manage the credit risk for all business portfolios of customers' trade accounts receivable in Japan. Ensure proper implementation and oversight of Dow's credit policy. Optimize the credit risk/business reward balance, protect and enhance the company's cash flow, ensure prompt turnover of receivables, minimize bad debt losses, contribute to long term customer satisfaction, and support the company's financial and business objectives including internal controls.

Key Responsibilities and Job Expectations

61 Manage the credit risk for all business portfolios of customers' trade accounts receivable in Japan. Ensure the proper implementation and oversight of Dow's credit policy.

61 Coordinate with business and customer to implement credit risk mitigation actions to support credit limits by using traditional credit risk management instruments (such as guarantees, collaterals, letter of credits, etc.) and other innovative techniques (such as credit derivatives, securitization of receivables, trade finance operations, etc.).

61 Perform financial risk analysis for customer portfolios, leveraging system tools like CRA, to support customer risk monitoring.

61 Supervise performance of routine collections and resolution of customer's discrepancies (Payment Receipt and Handling Process) and take the lead role and ownership where determined necessary by the risk assessment or during the routine collection stage at any time if deemed appropriate.

61 Impact the achievement of customer and operational objectives by providing insightful differentiated financial services and consultation to these customers on complex issues, including financial support based on the customer's risk assessment and business strategy.

61 2 years of relevant experience
