Accounting and Compliance Management
- Record and review all subsidiary accounting vouchers (covering procurement, sales, production, banking, payroll, expenses, inventory, etc.)
- Ensure the accuracy of financial information and full compliance with legal requirements, including IFRS and PRC GAAP, as well as all applicable tax laws and levies
- Close the books on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis on schedule; submit financial, strategic and operational data to the Group within the prescribed timelines and formats
Financial Management and Business Partnership
- Work closely with the subsidiary General Manager to act as a business partner to all departments, aligning the subsidiary’s operations with the Company’s global strategy
- Manage and reconcile all third-party accounts (customers, suppliers, commercial and industrial partners)
- Partner with Sales and Operations teams to optimise costs and enhance profitability, providing sound financial insight and advice.
Team Leadership and External Collaboration
- Establish and continuously improve performance-reporting and management-control tools
- Build the subsidiary Finance team, design operational and financial procedures to ensure a robust internal-control environment, and develop team competencies
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to guarantee financial governance compliance and keep abreast of evolving local regulations
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Solid accounting experience, preferably within an international high-tech company in China
- Native-level Mandarin and fluent English (spoken and written)
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience with an ERP system is highly desirable
- Proficiency in French is a plus
