Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Manager to lead design and engineering projects that support supply chain solutions in the electronics and consumer goods manufacturing industry. This role will focus on driving innovation in mechanical design while ensuring manufacturability, cost efficiency, and supply chain optimization.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering with a solid understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes, enabling the delivery of innovative, scalable, and competitive product solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Design & Development
61 Lead the design, validation, and optimization of mechanical structures, components, and assemblies for electronics and consumer goods.
61 Ensure designs meet cost, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
61 Oversee CAD modeling, prototyping, and testing processes.
61 Drive DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles into all product designs.
Supply Chain & Manufacturing Integration
61 Partner with suppliers, sourcing, and supply chain teams to align design decisions with manufacturing capabilities and supply chain resilience.
61 Provide engineering solutions that reduce cost, improve manufacturability, and accelerate time-to-market.
61 Evaluate and qualify new materials, processes, and manufacturing partners to support product innovation.
61 Collaborate with global sourcing teams to support localization initiatives and supplier optimization.
Leadership & Collaboration
61 Manage and mentor a high-performing mechanical design engineering team.
61 Collaborate cross-functionally with Electrical, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure integrated product solutions.
61 Partner with global R&D centers and HQ to align on product development roadmaps.

Qualifications
61 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
61 10+ years of mechanical design experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
61 Proven track record in electronics or consumer goods manufacturing industry.
61 Strong expertise in CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Pro/E, AutoCAD).
61 Knowledge of supply chain dynamics, sourcing processes, and supplier management.
61 Experience in DFM/DFA, prototyping, and validation testing.
61 Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills; global experience preferred.
61 Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-cultural collaboration abilities.
