POSITION SUMMARY

Senior IT Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a company's IT infrastructure. The employee plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of all technology systems. This role often involves a blend of hands-on technical work, strategic planning, and mentorship of junior team members.

1. Providing technical support and incident resolution to ensure business continuity

2. Managing and supporting the Office 365 platform (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)

3. Managing virtual server environments (e.g., VMware)

4. Administering domain controller servers (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.)

5. Administering cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure), including resource provisioning, access control, and security policies

6. Managing Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting

7. Supporting the implementation and maintenance of IT security policies and compliance requirements

8. Participating in the local execution and coordination of global IT projects

9. Collaborating with IT teams across global sites, to promote standardization and best practices

10. Administering and maintaining SAP systems, primarily SAP Basis configuration and support

Required:

1. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in system administration

2. Hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration (At least some basics knowledge)

3. Proficient in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware ESXi, vCenter)

4. Solid knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory management

5. Experience managing and supporting Office 365 environments

6. Familiarity with cloud platform administration (Azure, etc.)

7. Good command of written and spoken English for international collaboration

8. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, SAP Certified Technology Associate, RHCSA/RHCE
