SUMMARY
The Media & Licensing Data Analyst will support the EVP of HES, Licensing and GPO to grow the Kids2 Ecosystem with data-driven insights and strategy. The position will leverage data and analytics to drive growth through our multi-million-dollar license portfolio, and expand our media communities (Hello Einstein Studios and Parent.co). The Media & Licensing Data Analyst provides KPI reporting and data analytics for the EVP and team to drive key decision making and success measurement of the businesses relative to goals. The Media & Licensing Data Analyst creates and maintains weekly and monthly reports regarding data insights and trends including viewership, subscription, and revenue analytics.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
61 Holistically support Media and Licensing teams with data, reporting and regular analysis to identify and execute business opportunities and drive actionable analytics
61 Conduct quarterly forecasting and royalty reporting for all licensing activities, according to contracts and systems
61 Maintain business financials and balance sheet including AR and AP for HES/PCo
61 Prepare regular competitive and landscape analysis of the media and licensed products markets
61 Regularly evaluate media growth tactics and provides recommendations for consistent improvement.
61 Maintain all financial and accounting inputs into systems related to Media and Licensing, including West End, SAP data updates, and Licensor portals
61 Gather and analyze data to understand problems and address them proactively
61 Provide Ad-hoc support and analysis as needed
61 Maintain technical skills on appropriate software applications to provide optimum level of support
61 Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
61 2-4 year of data analytics experience with business strategy focus; media or licensing background a plus
61 Demonstrates ability to analyze data and make appropriate recommendations
61 Demonstrates business curiosity, drive for results and learning on the fly
61 Advanced Excel experience with pivot tables, graphs, reporting and visualization tools (PowerBI)
EDUCATION & SKILLS
61 University degree in business, engineering, or related field
61 Proficient English business communication and comprehension-conversational, reading and writing
61 Experience pulling/managing data from a variety of sources
61 High level of organization and detail-orientation
61 Plans and manages time and projects effectively
61 Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
61 Communication: Internal and external business contacts
61 Team-first mindset; collaborates closely with cross functional teams
61 Demonstrated ability to work independently and seek out information when needed

61 Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Power BI and SAP a plus
