The purpose of the role is to plan and manage projects. The role involves structuring complex tasks into manageable work packages and creating project plans with accurately estimated timelines and resources. The job holder needs to engage and motivate Cross-Functional Team members.
Job description:
61 Be responsible for new product introduction project (NPI)
Be responsible for the technical project of global manufacturing, aims to address production and quality issues in the cutting process.
61 Plan projects: Structure complex tasks into manageable work packages, and create realistic project plans with accurately estimated timelines and resources
61 Manage projects:
- Engage and motivate cross functional team members
- Think in scenarios, create options and have plan B’s
- Prioritize and understand trade-offs
- Take calculated risks, manage and mitigate them
- Work with various partners and stakeholders like plants, markets, finance, technology experts and external vendors
- Track, steer and do AIP management
- Get tasks done
- Present results and get buy-in from stakeholders

Functional expertise:
1. Soft skill:
1.1: Project management skill - mastery of project management tools, processes and systems, for time / cost planning and tracking, task management, and risk assessment to manage projects effectively.
1.2: Get things done - to deliver project targets on time, in budget, at quality, and in full.
1.3: English communication skill
1.4: Team management skills to engage and motivate cross functional team members to get the best out of project teams
1.5: Stakeholder management skill - presentation and communication skills to inform and manage relevant stakeholders from different departments within & outside plant 8
1.6: Nimble Learning - be willingness and be able to understand DX manufacturing process technology
1.7: Think in scenarios to create options and to have plan Bs at hand to define and drive resilient project plans.
2. Technology skill:
2.1: Understand basic mechanical process knowledge
2.2: Understand metal material forming theory during machining process
2.2: Possess knowledge in metal material, including manufacturing process in steel mill, and influence that metal material brings to machining processes & products
Education: Bachelor degree or above, with material science or other related major background
Languages: Fluent English skill, be able to work in English working environment (including global meetings in English, emails, documents)
Computer skill: Proficient in using Microsoft software
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of engineering relevant experience in manufacturing industry; Minimum 2 years working experience in project management position.
