Application Engineer-S&T

2. Performs thermal design and prepares technical specification data sheets for Shell & Tube heat exchangers.

3. Performs outline draw of heat exchangers.

4. Performs cost estimates and quotes for Shell & Tube heat exchangers.

5. Provides guidance and leadership for selects of products and services to meet customer expectations in the designs and developments of new products, and during customer interactions.

6. Interfaces with internal engineers, design personnel as well as the sale engineers and external customers to provide engineering assistance.

7. Manages and directs the resource personnel, tracks performances and drives team productivities to effective complete assignments on designs, cost estimations, quotes and schedules.

8. Tracks team and customer responsiveness, process and product improvements, accuracies, qualities of outputs, project timelines.

9. Trains resources for internal and external uses.

10. Assists and supports sale department to develop proposals.

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical, Chemical, Chemical Machinery, Thermal Fluid and related engineering disciplines.

2. Minimum 7 years thermal designs, applications, cost estimations and quote experiences in Shell & Tube heat exchangers.

3. CET4 equivalent or above.

4. Strong experience in thermal designs, cost estimates and quotes of Shell & Tube heat exchangers. Good understanding mechanical designs, fabrications and maintenance of Shell & Tube heat exchangers. Knowledge of process engineering, pressure vessels, piping, system controls, welding, structural steel fabrications, metallurgy and material science etc.

5. Proficiency with MS Office applications and CAD packages in HTRI and AutoCAD or equivalent. Familiarity with code and standard of the TEMA, API, GB, ASME and PED a plus. COMPRESS software skill is preferred.

6. Good interpersonal, effective communication, leader ship, team management and customer relationship management skills.
