Mission Statement:

Supports Business Function and/or manufacture plan to ensure goods are shipped whilst meeting on time, quality, legal and costs parameters. Develop, maintain and improve transport/logistics processes to optimize inbound and/or outbound product and material delivery to external and internal clients. Ensure the Import and export operation is sufficiency and compliance, and provider professional knowhow to support company global trade business under complex international trade environment.

Main Accountabilities

1. Responsible for the customs declaration of mechanical products, electronic components and other products, to ensure that the customs declaration documents are complete and accurate to ensure compliance with all export/ import rules and regulations.

2. Review the customs clearance information, including commercial invoice, packing list, contract, license, commodity customs code classification, etc., and ensure compliance with customs requirements

3. Scheduling Prepares and updates monthly logistics schedule to ensure deliveries to production locations on time and coordinates product delivery schedule with cross functional team.

4. Coordinates daily activities to track location and movement of import and export shipments via all transport modes, and re-routes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize cost.

5. Works closely with servicer providers and brokers to assure efficient and effective execution of processes, assists in obtaining necessary transport permits and codes, regular handle the related broker KPI review and management.

6. Responsible for monthly billing of customs brokers, freight forwarders and arranging the payment of customs duties timely, inform relevant colleagues to submit PR application after cost allocation completed.

7. Keep abreast of relevant customs, inspection and quarantine and import and export policies and regulations to ensure operational compliance. And support various special customs regime such as bonded processing and temporary import and export according to business requirements

8. Data Management Supports the development and implementation of improved processes and systems, Assist with any Customs compliance related classifications, COO, license applications, and/or reporting requirements as needed in China

9. Keep abreast of relevant customs and international trade policies and regulations to ensure operational compliance.TO deliver Customs Compliance Training to targeted audiences to support corporate compliance policies and initiatives

10. Archive Archives all documentation regarding shipping documents and related delivery documents per internal and external policy.

11. Internal communication and coordination: coordinate material planning, procurement, TTL, sales, warehouse, etc., deal with unexpected problems related to customs declaration.

Knowledge , Skill and Experience

1. Education: Bachelor degree or above, major in international trade, Customs management or supply chain management is preferred

2. Experience: 5 years or above customs clearance work experience, with mechanical products, electrical components and other products customs clearance, inspection operation experience is preferred

3. Professional knowledge: familiar with international trade, customs related laws and regulations, proficient in import and export trade process

4. Communication skills: Good communication and coordination skills, able to handle the work with customs, customs brokers, freight forwarders and internal departments

5. Language skills: English listening, speaking, reading and writing, English can be used as a working language.

6. Software skill: good at Word, PPT, Excel, SAP.

7. Experience on logistics digitalization project or trade compliance preferred.

8. Strong sense of responsibility, careful work, have good ability to work under pressure and team cooperation.
