Key Responsibilities
61 Oversee and troubleshoot machinery and check for alternatives for existing machinery. Develop new processes to improve efficiency and quality under consideration of safety, ergonomics, and environmental aspects.
61 Perform analysis ahead of optimization of machining processes and manufacturing equipment. Determine and draw up complete technical specification.
61 Determine opportunities for improvements for manufacturing or production related processes. Take care of projects up to full implementation.
61 Negotiate technical specification with possible vendors as preparation for capital approval.
61 Proof amortization based on technical specifications and capital spent.
61 Realization/support for investment projects related to the introduction of new process and/or products.
Additional tasks
61 Project lead or project work for substantial single investments or investment programs
61 Project lead or project work related to process or productivity improvements outside manufacturing
61 Projects inside cooperation, which are part of the described activities above
Required Skills
61 Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent study, Bachelor (may Master)
61 Focus: Production and mechanical processes like grinding, milling, turning
61 Quality expertise, statistical process control, basics in Six Sigma (helpful)
61 Lean Management (basics): 5S, Value stream Analysis, Continuous improvement, SMED, TPM ....
61 Knowledge or experience with project management inside manufacturing or production related areas
61 Highly developed communication skills, Self-reliant and solution focused.
61 Flexible and resilient
61 Acting as team player inside an international working environment
61 Good command of English language
