Support Project Managers in technical communication and project coordination.

Lead test development RFQs, design reviews, and customer requirement discussions.

2. Engineering Management

Supervise and coach teams in Product Engineering (PDE) and Test Development Engineering (TDE).

Assign tasks and oversee tester development schedules, architecture, and DFT implementation.

Coordinate across departments including SMT, QA, IE, Component, and Manufacturing Engineering.

3. New Product Introduction (NPI) & Product Development

Lead mechanical and electrical issue resolution during NPI and production.

Review drawings, perform DFM/DFA, and approve tooling and custom part fabrication.

Handle failure analysis and *** article evaluations (FAEA).

4. Component & BOM Management

Collect and validate electronic component specifications for compliance and sourcing.

Classify strategic commodities, manage MRB issues, and identify second-source alternatives.

Prepare and verify internal BOMs for new projects; ensure structural accuracy for all assemblies.

5. Test & Tooling Development

Develop tester hardware/software (e.g. NI LabVIEW, MCU boards: ESP, Arduino, STM).

Perform circuit analysis and root cause analysis for test failures.

Oversee tooling development, qualification, and maintenance with suppliers.

6. Supplier & Quality Support

Support the qualification and audit of new mechanical/electronic suppliers.

Provide technical input for supplier selection and alternative material sourcing.

Collaborate on packing design and reliability testing (e.g. drop tests).

Education:

1.Bachelor’s or above in Electronics or related Engineering disciplines.

2.Diploma holders with strong experience will be considered for supporting roles.

Experience:

1. 5+ years of engineering management experience (including 1–2 years managing mechanical or test teams).

2. 15+ years total working experience in engineering roles preferred.

3. Hands-on experience in:

Plastic/metal tooling, mechanical part design

Component engineering and electronics testing

BOM structure, product documentation

Tester development (LabVIEW, MCU programming)

Technical Skills:

1. AutoCAD, Pro/E or similar CAD tools

2. Knowledge of LCR meter, digital oscilloscope, dielectric testers

3. Strong hardware/software debug skills

4.Familiar with standards: TS16949, ISO9000, SPC;ISO14001/OHSAS18001 preferred

Language & Communication:

1. Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)

2. Cantonese an added advantage

3. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills across multicultural teams
