Responsibility:
The IT Manager is responsible for manage the operation, development, and management of the IT department, focusing on agile digitalization, automation, and IT cost optimization. This role will ensure the successful implementation of IT solutions that streamline business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive digital transformation in line with business goals. Additionally, the IT Manager will play a critical role in managing IT risk, cybersecurity, application landscape, infrastructure, and supplier relationships to ensure robust, secure, and efficient IT systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
IT planning & Roadmap: To develop and execute an IT plan for greater China in alignment with regional IT strategy, global vision and local business needs.
Agile Digitalization & Automation: Lead digital transformation with tools like SAP, CRM, PowerBI, and automation (e.g., Bots). Drive automation to improve efficiency and support business agility.
IT Cost Control & Optimization: Manage IT budgets, optimize costs, and ensure alignment with business goals. Oversee IT asset lifecycle and procurement to maximize cost efficiency.
IT Risk Management & Security: Ensure robust cybersecurity, data protection, and access management. Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
Application Landscape & Service Management: Ensure IT solutions integrate smoothly in alignment with business needs through product co-ownership between Business and IT. Manage application lifecycle and coordinate IT support for system reliability.
Supplier & Vendor Management: Manage IT vendor relationships, ensuring high performance and cost-effectiveness. Select and evaluate vendors to meet business requirements.
Collaboration & Communication: As part of the local organization and regional IT team, to work with various stakeholders in the business, technical and global IT teams to align IT with strategic goals. Communicate IT initiatives through newsletters, workshops, and information-sharing sessions.
Project Management & IT Operations: Lead IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope. Oversee infrastructure upgrades and IT troubleshooting.
Team Development & Policy Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in IT processes, policies, and team capabilities. Mentor and develop IT team members to meet business objectives.
Requirement:
At least 10 years of experience in managing IT operations and manage digital transformation initiatives in large multi-national organizations (ideally with over 1000 employees).
Extensive experience with enterprise IT systems (e.g., SAP, CRM, PowerBI, SAC), including implementation, optimization, and integration with other business systems.
Strong track record of managing IT projects, including cross-functional collaboration, budgeting, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
In-depth understanding of IT security frameworks, data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and cybersecurity best practices to safeguard the company's IT infrastructure and sensitive data.
Experience managing relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, ensuring high service levels, and controlling costs.
Experience with business automation tools and platforms (e.g., RPA, SAP automation, CRM integrations, PowerBI, and SAC for analytics).
Expertise in overseeing the full IT infrastructure stack (network, servers, storage, cloud solutions) and enterprise application management (ensuring performance, upgrades, security, and compliance).
Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and ITIL practices to manage IT service delivery and ensure an efficient support structure across a large organization.
Proficiency in implementing IT security measures such as access controls, firewalls, VPNs, encryption technologies, and threat management tools to protect IT systems from cyber threats.
Expertise in managing third-party contracts and SLAs, negotiating favorable terms, and driving cost-effective solutions for the organization.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders (business leaders, operations, finance, HR) and external stakeholders & partners (global/regional IT teams, vendors).
Strong change management capabilities, with experience guiding teams through IT transformations, ensuring user adoption and smooth transitions to new systems or processes.
Ability to assess complex IT problems, quickly identify the root cause, and devise solutions that minimize operational disruptions.
Demonstrated experience in managing, mentoring, and developing IT teams, driving performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
Familiarity with coordinating with Global IT teams and integrating regional IT strategies into the broader company IT architecture.
