Lead Software Engineer-PLC

- Develop, test, and maintain PLC code for application software.

- Interface with remote I/O Profibus and Profinet to ensure seamless communication and control of equipment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project team, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to develop integrated solutions tailored to meet our clients' needs.

- Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC systems and software applications.

- Participate in system design and architecture discussions to promote efficient, scalable solutions.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers in PLC programming best practices and industry standards.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.

- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, design practices, and user manuals.

- Work under minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and initiative.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related field.

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in PLC programming, specifically with Siemens systems.

- Proficiency in PLC programming languages.

- Skill in C and Python programming languages is a plus

- Skill in HMI developing is a plus

- Strong understanding of remote I/O protocols and their applications in industrial environments.

- Extensive experience in equipment control and automation.

- Prior experience in the oil and gas drilling industry is a strong plus.

- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of operating in a multicultural environment.

- Willingness to travel internationally as required to support project deployment and client needs.

- Can work in English environment, fluent writing and verbal skills.
