职位描述

Major Responsibilities and Objectives:
Provide design information on project related matters to support project budget & cost, MEP and construction decisions.
Manage and monitor various consultants to ensure the project is completed to the highest quality and verifying design deliverables to ensure adherence to the original design briefs.
Assist in liaising with all related government departments.
Major Tasks & Activities:
To liaise with end-user departments and develop suitable design briefs which are in compliance with the required design quality, time frame and budget.
To develop design schedule for governing the timely availability of various drawings and documents to suit the overall project programme.
To source potential consultant candidates of different design disciplines and to timely appoint suitable consultants.
Monitor the proper functioning of various consultants including the resolution of design conflicts among different disciplines.
Lead, manage and monitor design consultants to conduct all necessary design studies and to prepare appropriate design documents for review, government submissions, tendering, construction, etc.
Liaise with all related government departments (or governing bodies) to facilitate processing and approval of design related submissions, and their acceptance of the works from design, construction until project completion stage.
To ensure prompt resolution of design related queries during construction stage, and to conduct regular site inspections to warrant that the products are in line with the government approved design and the required workmanship standard.
To verify design deliverables from time to time to ensure adherence to the original design briefs.
To coach and motivate staff with a target to build a competent design team.
Provide regular and ad-hoc progress reports to GM.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Degree holder in Architectural Studies or relevant discipline with professional qualification.
Minimum 15 years of related experience in managing design development in property developers or architectural design firms, exposure in overseeing large scale construction projects and prestigious property developments is preferred.
Solid Chinese Mainland experience is a must.
Good design capability and good understanding of Chinese Mainland property market.
Well-versed in related local laws and regulations.
Good communication and presentation skills in English and Putonghua.
High level of self-initiative, strong sense of responsibility and attention to details.
