Your Responsibilities
It is looking for ambitious, talented professionals with a passion for communications and marketing to join its team of social media experts.
The successful candidate will be expected to execute and implement social media management (content creation and platform operation) across UNNC’s existing channels, to amplify the UNNC network story, elevate the brand and increase demand for student recruitment in China.
The purpose of the role is to drive the branding and marketing of UNNC, and to elevate brand affinity/engagement in digital social platforms. Execute brand-own media development to ensure organic fan growth and engagement, deliver related digital marketing initiatives, generate real connections with audiences, and define social solutions with strategic media partners to both improve brand influence and business needs.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Digital Media or Advertising, with 2+ years’ experience in social media management. Abilities to set and manage priorities to assigned objectives and schedules, deal with multi-tasks and work under pressure are preferable. Conversational proficiency in English is required.
Your key responsibilities include:
Manage domestic social media platforms, to ensure accounts are updated regularly and that messaging is timely and relevant. The platforms include but not limited to Sina Weibo, WeChat account, Xiaohongshu, Zhihu etc.;
Create, implement and manage customer-***, competitive and insightful social media plans and calendars for social media and contents management, aligning with UNNC initiatives;
Utilise digital tools for social media content editing and layout to ensure it is on brand and user friendly;
Monitor trends and adopt new social media tools if proper, allocate resources on various social media platforms. Identify and report on social media trends to ensure that the university is ahead of the competition, reaching the maximum amount of customers;
Conduct content audit and performance review, including data analysis and report, to inform improvements and meet marketing objectives;
Filter and communicate with digital agencies to deliver assigned digital projects whenever required, and work with agencies for certain digital projects, esp. those social-focused ones.
About You
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent International degree in Marketing, Digital Media or Advertising;
2+ years’ experience in digital marketing and social media management;
Be fluent in both Chinese and English;
Be knowledgeable of Chinese social media (Weibo, WeChat, Xiaohongshu, etc.) and digital marketing tools available;
Be able to use digital tools for content editing and layout fluently;
Sound understanding of the relevant professional, legal and regulatory requirements of social media.
