Plant Program Manager

1. Be responsible for leading the local/plant implementation team of projects and programs on schedule using Nexteer Customer Program Implement (CPI) in advance of launch when required.

2. Coordinate all local cross-functional interdepartmental activities required by CPI process

3. Be responsible for leading the program launch to CPI Flawless Launch Process.

4. Facilitate regular review meetings to communicate project and program status and activities.

5. Participate in development of engineering, quality, and manufacturing documents, such as Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plan (CP), Work Instructions (WI).

6. Use and maintain local documents for tracking and reporting, such as CPI Process Reviews, Design Reviews, Delivery Boards, Flawless Launch Readiness Reviews, Launch Boards, 1132 Manufacturing Checklist, and management presentations.

7. Search for program risk in advance and mitigate the risk or report it to management.

8. Support problem solving and root-cause analysis activities

9. Follow Internal Control (IC) procedures and resolve any non-compliance issues.

10. Lead off-tool sample builds.

11. Response to project cost and timing estimations

12. Support Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) for engineering and manufacturing cost reductions

13. Lead the change management process for the responded product line

14. To be the key coordinator of the localization project

Skills and Abilities/Qualification:

1. Excellent in office, spreadsheet, and program management computer skills.

2. Good personal communication skills and able to work in a team

3. Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English

4. High level of organizational skills, for tracking and reporting multiple assigned projects and programs

5. General understanding of engineering and manufacturing standards and tools, including APQP, GD&T, FMEA, SPC..

Experience:

1. Total project management experience preferred.

2. Required, Bachelor degree or above of mechanical engineering

3. Minimum 5 years working experience with project or program management, in automotive industry preferred
