Logistics Automation Project Manager

As a Logistics Automation Project Manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of automation projects, from planning and design through implementation and subsequent maintenance. Utilizing your data analysis skills and background in automation projects, you will optimize existing logistics automation solutions both online and offline, and prepare thoroughly for the launch of new projects. Additionally, you will manage supplier relationships to ensure efficient allocation of project resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed project plans and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery.

Conduct in-depth analysis of logistics automation solutions to identify optimization opportunities and enhance system efficiency.

Leverage data analysis skills to monitor project performance and propose improvement measures.

Manage supplier relationships, conduct tendering and contract negotiations to ensure cost-effectiveness of projects.

Coordinate cross-departmental teams to ensure smooth project execution and address issues arising during the project.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

1-2 years of experience in logistics automation projects with successful case studies.

Familiarity with logistics processes and automation technologies, possessing data analysis capabilities to optimize projects using data.

Excellent project management skills, including time management, budget control, etc.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to establish long-term partnerships with suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Studying abroad experience.

Fluent in English communication, capable of effective communication in an international work environment.

Experience with WMS, TMS, and other logistics management systems.

Understanding of logistics automation equipment (AGVs, AMRs, Shuttles, etc.) and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in logistics.

Possession of PMP or other relevant project management certifications.

Knowledge in logistics automation software, including but not limited to SOW formulation, software function integration, etc.
