What a typical day looks like:

61 Manage all project design activities for assigned project, including feasibility studies, from project start until stable production (SP), within the project baselines.

61 Support Global Technical Program Manager (GTPM) in reviewing and refining Product Requirements Documents (PRD) and Statement of Work (SOW) documents.

61 Working with project team to work out project scope, budget and schedule baselines for the Design activities, based on approved PRD and SOW.

61 Communicate customer requirements, scope, schedule and budget constraints to cross-functional design teams

61 Work with the GTPM and functional leads (Test Development PM, New Product Introduction (NPI) PM, Validation PM) to coordinate activities, dependencies and resolve issues in support of the project scope, budget and schedule.

61 Track & manage project design expenses against project budget.

61 Lead and facilitate project team to work according to project plan, lead and facilitate the project team to settle problems during the design phase and ensure the project done within schedule

61 Communicate project design status on a regular basis, and resolve issues as needed.

61 Lead project gate reviews to represent design status & risk assessment for the project.

61 Manage change control for design changes, communicating the impact to customer and GTPM, developing new project baselines for approved changes, and communicating new baselines to the design team.

61 Make seamless cooperation and handover with NPI TPM to ensure project launching

61 Support GTPM & Global Account Manager (GAM) in technical discussions with the customer.

61 Lead project gate reviews to represent design status & risk assessment for the project.

61 Other tasks per business needs

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

61 More than 10 years’ project management related working experience

61 Bachelor or above degree or working experience related to Mechanical Product Design

61 Fluent spoken & written English and Chinese

61 Good master of excel, word, PPT

61 Excellent English technical presentation skills

61 Good communication ability, optimistic and positive. Have corresponding ability of problem resolving.
